Leonard Creo (1923 - 2019)

Leonard Creo studied at The Art Students’ League, with Gutierez and Sequierros in Mexico, and Pietro Annigonni in Italy. His work is part of the collections of the Amherst College Museum, Georgia Museum of Fine Arts, Long Beach Museum of Fine Arts, Norfolk Art Museum, Syracuse University Museum, Ulrich Museum,
the Universities of Maine, New York, Wyoming, and the Washington Museum of Fine Arts. He had dozens of one-man shows. In 2007, the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts (Hartford, Connecticut) exhibited seventeen paintings which are owned by the New Britain Museum of American Art.
